Happiness

“I have the best job in the World. I study what makes people happy. At the Happiness Research Institute, we are a team of scientists dedicated to well-being, happiness and quality of life, studying the causes and effects of human happiness, and working to improve the quality of life for people around the World.” “Our institute originated in Denmark, because this country remains in the ranking of the happiest countries in the World. No, Denmark did not propose an ideal utopian state, it is the basis for solving the same problems and labor relations as any other country, but I believe that in terms of questions about the quality of life of its citizens, it may well become an inspiration for many.”

Hygge Manifesto

“Hygge” comes from a Norwegian word meaning “welfare, well-being”.

1. Atmosphere (dim the lights.)

2. Presences (focus on the here and now.)

3. Pleasure (coffee, chocolate, cookies, cakes, sweets. And more!)

4. Equality (“We”, not “I”. Divide duties equally and let each other speak.)

5. Gratitude (Enjoy the moment, each has its own unique beauty.)

6. Harmony (No competition. We like you already.)

7. Comfort (Sit back. Take a deep breath. Relax.)

8. Consent (No arguments. Politics will be discussed another time.)

9. Proximity (Build relationships and tell stories. “Remember how we were then? ..”)

10. Serenity (This is your clan. This is a place of peace and serenity.)
